This is a movement!

I would love it if this life decision/lifestyle was regarded as more “normal” than it is now. Or at least as it is now in the United States. I have traveled quite a bit but it’s hard to tell just from traveling how other cultures view it. In my home state, Colorado, I feel a bit like I am viewed as a “lesser than” when parents find out I’m childfree and then I feel a distancing when they find out I’m happy about it.

Where are you from and what are the attitudes where you live?

I’ll be looking up resources and blogs and websites by like-minded to help bring us together. Here is a start.

Here is a website that has already done some work for us.

I’m Jill

I’m reaching out to my people. Let’s connect and support each other. I don’t need to be the leader or the follower. I just want to be known and seen. I know I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And if the world can’t live as one, maybe we can find a few communities where we feel validated.

I’m currently re-evaluating my desire to participate in any social media. Connection with me will be through this blog or email.

Let’s connect
