After I captured this video which I had taken while driving across Kansas without looking to make sure the lane next to us was clear, I thought to myself, “This is how Nature must feel toward these two power sources. Wind power on the horizon peacefully drawing energy from the sun in the form of moving air and fossil fuels come slamming along in the image, up in Her face, stealing the serenity.”

I love to make up metaphors. That one isn’t as clean as I would like, but the intrusion of the truck in my screen was a surprise and disappointment.

What metaphors have you made up lately?

I’m Jill

I’m reaching out to my people. Let’s connect and support each other. I don’t need to be the leader or the follower. I just want to be known and seen. I know I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And if the world can’t live as one, maybe we can find a few communities where we feel validated.

I’m currently re-evaluating my desire to participate in any social media. Connection with me will be through this blog or email.
